Balby Carr’s girls team have the chance to lift another trophy as they kick-off in their English Colleges FA Play-Offs final today.

Having cruised past Solihull 4-2 in the semi-final - thanks to goals from Beth Smyth, Sianna Bennett, Ellie Chandler and Leah Hardy - Doncaster’s footballing starlets will take on Gateshead in today’s final at Stoke City’s Britannia Stadium.

Balby have already won the English Schools FA trophy this year - a title they retained after dispatching Reading’s John Madejski Academy in March.
