Prediction League: Rovers fan Mike Follows has his say on Portsmouth and Carlisle games
THE football we’ve seen so far this season has not been attractive but few could argue with its efficiency.
That is until enforced changes make their mark.
Dean Saunders signed two tall centre backs for a reason and with both of them injured it is bound to affect the way the team is set up.
Until recently, the solid defence somewhat negated the problem of a lack of goals scored at home.
If we are to continue conceding then we need the creative players to step up to the mark and make chances for the forwards.
The first half on Saturday was awful but we did look better in the second half and hopefully can build on this as we look to continue our fine away form.
Portsmouth are in trouble again and, with Rob Jones back, I think we’ll get a good result there.
Carlisle could be difficult to beat.
Predictions: Portsmouth 1 Rovers 2; Carlisle 1 Rovers 1
