As the Doncaster & District Junior Sunday Football League winds down for its Christmas break, we take a look at who’s doing what in the leagues so far.

Out of 195 junior teams in the Doncaster area, from the under-11 age group through to under-17s, 12 sides take unbeaten records into the new year in their respective leagues.

Six of those sides have 100 per cent league records and are yet to drop a single point.

Rossington Main U11s are cruising in Division One having won all ten league games so far and they can also look forward to a cup quarter-final. Striker Jack Magson has scored a sensational 44 goals in 13 games in all competitions.

In the U11 Premier Division, South Kirkby Mineros have won nine out of nine largely thanks to Mckenzie Walker (21) and Charlie Clegg’s (20) goals.

Stainforth Juniors lead the way in the Second Division with 11 wins and a draw from 12 games, while Adwick Allstars are also yet to lose.

The U14 Second Division is shaping up into a fascinating contest, as Stainforth Juniors and Moorends both boast 100 per cent records going into the break.

Edenthorpe are seven points clear at the top of the U14 First Division, with Ordsall - another of the unbeaten teams - seven points clear in the Premier.

Hyde Park Knights U16s have won all six of their league games as they look to chase down Premier Division leaders Adwick Park Rangers with games in hand. Branton sit a point behind Hyde Park having won five and drawn two.

Stainforth Juniors Red are five points behind leaders Barnby Dun Rovers in the U13 Premier, with four games in hand as they are yet to suffer defeat.

Similarly, Sandall Park Rangers Blue are yet to drop points in the U13 First Division, but sit second having played four games less than top of the tree Bessacarr Blue.

Hyde Park Knights U12 are the other side without a league defeat so far, well-placed in third with games in hand.
