One of Gordon Staniforth’s first priorities as new boss of Doncaster Rovers Belles is to keep hold of players including Sue Smith and Leandra Little, he said.
The former Hull City, York City, Carlisle United and Plymouth Argyle striker spoke exclusively to the Free Press on his ambitions for the WSL2 club and delight following the appointment.
Smith and Little are among several players yet to commit their futures to the Belles and the FA coach has made this factor a priority to tackle.
“These players are top of my list, I want to secure them for another season,” Staniforth told the Free Press.
