GOAL getter Jessica Sigsworth will be hoping to shoot England into the final stage of the Women’s Under 17s UEFA Championships over the next few days.
Sigsworth, of Auckley, was part of an 18-strong squad that flew to Poland yesterday for phase two of the international tournament.
The 16-year-old striker, who scored goals galore for Doncaster Belles’ junior teams, made her England U17 debut in a friendly against France in November.
Her last appearance for the national side saw her set up England’s goal in a 1-1 friendly draw with Norway in February.
England will face Sweden, Iceland and Poland in Group One after qualifying as one of the best runners-up from the first stage.
