Footballers at Communication Specialist College Doncaster are celebrating a sensational cup quadruple.

The Doncaster students came from behind to beat a young and spirited Charlton team 4-2 at the National Football Centre in Burton on Saturday to lift the Disability FA Cup.

They recently beat Derby Deaf FC 1-0 to win the English Deaf Cup.

And only a couple of weeks earlier the team got their hands on the British Deaf Cup by getting the better of long-time rival St John’s, of London, 2-0.

They also thrashed Sheffield Wednesday’s Ability Counts team 8-2 to win the northern regional final of Disability FA Cup.

John Nugent, pathway tutor, club secretary and coach, said: “The lads have done brilliantly well this year.

“All their hard work has finally paid off.

“Everyone involved in the team and at the college are extremely proud of their achievements.”

The Communication Specialist College Doncaster is part of Doncaster Deaf Trust which comprises of a nursery, school and college.
