Martin Woods hopes to return to full training next week fitter, faster and stronger than ever - and he’s determined to help Doncaster pass their way out of trouble.
The Scottish midfielder was due to see a specialist yesterday about the niggly groin injury that has kept him out of the side for the majority of the season.
Woods is confident he will get the all-clear to resume full training on Monday.
He could be back in contention for the visit of Championship leaders QPR to the Keepmoat Stadium a week on Saturday.
The former Sunderland and Leeds man would add some much-needed craft and guile to a Rovers engine-room that has looked somewhat laboured in recent weeks.
