NEW boys Jason Euell and Franck Moussa could not prevent Rovers’ alarming slide continuing in South Wales.
Midfielder Moussa, who joined on a one-month loan deal from Leicester City on Friday, and Blackpool striker Euell went straight into injury-hit Doncaster’s patched up side.
But it proved to be a rude awakening for the pair at the Liberty Stadium as Rovers failed to register a single significant effort on goal during a routine win for the promotion chasing Swans.
Doncaster, who lost James Coppinger to injury in the warm-up, found themselves behind after just six minutes when Scott Sinclair poked home Angel Rangel’s cross.
And after the home side’s relentless attacking they doubled that lead six minutes before the break as Ashley Williams headed home after his initial effort had been blocked by Neil Sullivan.
It was more of the same after the break as Doncaster were forced onto the back foot – and failed to create anything of note going forward.
But the hosts had to wait until the 78th minute before Darren Pratley surged forward and found Luke Moore in space in the box to drill home number three.
Rovers, who have failed to score in their last four games, go to high-flying Norwich City on Tuesday night on the back of seven defeats from their last eight in the Championship.
