STAR defender James Husband has graduated from the Rovers youth academy after being handed a first professional contract by Dean Saunders.
The 17-year-old has penned a two year contract at the Keepmoat after impressing for the youth team.
Rovers were keen to secure Husband's services as he has reportedly attracted interest from Premier League clubs.
The cultured defender has a tendency to attack from left back and his shooting ability has yielded five goals in ten games for Paul Stancliffe's youth side.
Husband regular takes set pieces for the youth team.
He will wear the number 40 shirt.
