STEVE Brooker and Byron Webster have been released by Doncaster Rovers.
Brooker, 29, endured an injury plagued two years at Rovers, while Webster struggled to break into the first team since joining the club from Czech side FK Siad in August 2009.
Popular striker Brooker scored his only two Doncaster goals on his first and last appearances for the club and was limited to just 11 appearances during his time at the Keepmoat Stadium.
He netted within seconds of coming on as a substitute at Watford and scored the last goal of last season - a wonder strike against Leicester City which helped Doncaster ensure their Championship survival.
Webster was loaned out to Hereford and Northampton Town last term and impressed Cobblers boss Gary Johnson with some strong performances in League Two.
