SOME things never change at Doncaster Rovers.
The sight of John Ryan talking to fans on the terraces prior to kick-off was typical of a chairman who likes to do things differently.
Ryan will always be affable and approachable - even during these heady, somewhat confusing times.
But the chairman’s persona is one of the few constants now in existence at a club which has undergone an overnight face-lift.
At a sun-drenched London Road Rovers showed a new penchant for coming from behind and winning as Dean Saunders’ dream start showed no signs of fading.
Saunders is stamping his mark on the team, the tactics and down at the training ground, where tiny little details like the eating arrangements have been tinkered from the Sean O’Driscoll days.
Whatever he’s doing, it seems to be working.
