Paul Dickov insists he has unfinished business at Rovers and has no desire to leave the club after being heavily linked with a switch to Sheffield Wednesday.

Dickov was priced by bookmakers as low as 2/1 to replace Dave Jones earlier this week.

But he took the opportunity at this morning’s press conference to dismiss the speculation about him and vacant Owls post.

“For me this job has always been about the future of the club and trying to build it in the right way both on and off the pitch,” Dickov said.

“I’m completely dedicated to that.

“I’m happy with what I’m doing and I don’t want to go anywhere.”
