SEAN O’Driscoll could have the luxury of a few extra bodies for this weekend’s battle royale with Championship leaders Queens Park Rangers.
Rovers’ players were on their last legs after gaining a hard fought point at high-flying Nottingham Forest on Saturday - one of Doncaster’s most hard-working and determined displays of the season.
The tireless performance appeared to have taken its toll on O’Driscoll’s wafer-thin squad when Shelton Martis (ankle), Mark Wilson (groin) and Sam Hird, with cramp, all hobbled off.
But the trio were expected to train as normal today and should be available for the visit of Neil Warnock’s champions elect on Saturday.
Indeed there finally looks to be some light at the end of the injury crisis tunnel.
