Our plight at the bottom of the table seems to be getting more desperate by the week and the defeat to Birmingham only widened the gap.
There have been a few signs of promise here and there but plainly and simply it’s just not been good enough.
It’s amazing to think that way back in September we underwent this radical regime change amid a load of conjecture about turning things around, pushing for the play-offs and reaching the Premier League.
All these months later we’re still propping up the table and this calendar year in particular has seen some utterly atrocious performances.
It’s reaching win or bust time as far as our Championship status is concerned, but anyone that’s supported the club for any length of time will know that League One’s not so bad if that’s where we are to end up.
