Doncaster Sports Awards: Mickey Walker VIDEO interview

DONCASTER Rovers’ Mickey Walker spoke to the Free Press after receiving his Lifetime Achievement award at Friday’s Keepmoat Stadium ceremony.

The 67-year-old has worked at Rovers for the last 13 years - graduating to his current position of director of football after spells as youth team manager and first team assistant manager.

Mickey suffered a heart attack at the training ground earlier this year but he was back on top form as he collected his special award from former Rovers boss Dave Penney.
