Doncaster Rovers have announced the signing of German goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann.
The 34-year-old free agent becomes Rovers’ first signing of the summer after rejecting a new contract offer from Preston North End.
He has penned a two-year deal with Doncaster.
Stuckmann, who is 6’6”, lost his place in the Preston side last season to former Doncaster loanee Sam Johnstone.
He played for SC Preußen Münster, Eintracht Braunschweig and Alemannia Aachen in Germany before moving to Deepdale in 2011, where he forged a reputation for saving penalties.
