“I think we’ll be okay next season. We’ll finish 18th or 19th.”
That’s the prediction of Rovers fan Mike Follows. And he should know!
The 31-year-old from Balby was crowned champion of the Free Press’s 2012/13 Prediction League, after a tense finish to the season which hinged on the drama at Griffin Park.

He recalled: “I predicted 1-1 for the final game and Ryan [Dunphy], who was one point behind me, went 2-1 Brentford, so the penalty could have changed everything had it gone in.
“To say I enjoyed what happened next would be something of an understatement!
“But then I thought to myself, do I really want a season ticket? Because I’m never going to see anything like what I witnessed at Griffin Park again.
“Obviously I’m over the moon to win the Prediction League and receive a season ticket for the Championship,” added South Stander Mike.
“With four or five quality additions to the squad, I think we’ll do okay.”
