Former Hearts goalkeeper Marian Kello has joined Rovers on trial as the club remains without a senior goalkeeper on its books.
The Slovakian international spent the last few months of the season with Wolves but did not play.
He is the latest keeper to train with the club as Paul Dickov hunts for a new number one.
“Marion is in for a few days just to have a look at him,” Dickov told the Star.
“A goalkeeper is a priority for us. We’ve had a couple in already and there will be a few more.
“The one thing with having Paul Gerrard in as a coach, his database and his knowledge of goalkeepers from everywhere is phenomenal. I don’t think he goes to sleep at night.
“Whatever the number one or number two we get in, we’ll make sure they are top quality.”
Dickov revealed Neil Sullivan had been offered an ambassadorial role with Rovers as part of his new deal but rejected in favour of regular football elsewhere.
