DONCASTER Rovers have completed their second loan signing of the week by snapping up giant Blackburn Rovers midfielder Herold Goulon.
The 6ft5in 23-year-old will stay at the Keepmoat until January 22.
Former France U21 international Goulon can operate as a defensive midfielder or centre half and has been signed by Dean Saunders to bring some steel to the side.
Goulon joined Blackburn last October on a two year deal but has made just four appearances in that time.
Rated as one of the top youngsters in France in his teens, Goulon joined Middlesbrough in 2008 from Lyon where he comparisons with Patrick Vieira were drawn.
Goulon left the Riverside to join Le Mans and made 37 appearances before former Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce brought him to Ewood Park.
He had trials with Bundesliga side FC Cologne and Greek outfit AEK Athens during the summer, as well as a stint training with Rovers.
