Have your say

The feeling is that if we start taking some chances we’ll be able to push on.

Curtis Main had a couple of great chances against Notts County and he could have scored, I think he should have scored. But he wasn’t alone in that.

The strikers have missed chances but to be fair they work very hard which is what you want to see. It’s good to have Nathan Tyson back too.

I listened to Stephen Bywater talking after his debut on Saturday and he’s got a wealth of experience, and maybe that’s just what we need.

He’ll be happy with the performances of his back four as well as they’ve made sure he hasn’t had a great deal to do, and we’re playing as a unit.

I still keep saying it, that when I look at the table I don’t see any reason why we can’t continue to aim for the play-offs.

The way we kept going against Barnsley and didn’t give up is extremely encouraging. Kyle Bennett was unlucky to go off with the way he’s been playing but he’s just back from injury so I think that played a part.

In terms of the transfer market I think Abdul Razak is a positive signing, it’ll be interesting to see how we use that option.

I think when you sign a player of that calibre you’re going to be looking to get him involved, but how will the manager work it with the players he has in that position?

It’s a good problem for the boss to have, rather than having the opposite issue. I think what Paul Dickov does very well with his squad is he manages to rotate his options without getting up anyone’s nose and without upsetting anyone, while keeping them fresh. We see that with the attacking options in particular and it’s quite a skill to be able to do that.

I’ve heard it said that we could do with another striker, and I think it would be good, if only to spur the others on. It could give them a lift.

It happened when I was a player. I’d go into the dressing room and know that there were others who played in my position and it’d make us push harder.

Another striker might help others take the opportunity when it comes.

The mindset at the minute is very positive as everyone has stopped looking down and have started to look up the league.

Hopefully we can carry on the decent run and start seeing the strikers on the score sheet.
