BEN Alnwick is poised to make his Doncaster debut against Coventry City tonight (7.45pm).

The on loan Spurs goalkeeper was on the bench on Saturday and watched Rovers concede five at Leeds.

Youngster Gary Woods is set to be taken out of the firing line by Sean O’Driscoll this evening - with Alnwick ready to step in for his Keepmoat Stadium bow.

The 24-year-old is yet to make a single first team appearance this season and has played just three times for Spurs since joining them in 2007.

James Coppinger is also pushing for a recall to the starting eleven after coming on as a substitute at Elland Road.

He is most likely to replace Dean Shiels.

Defender Shelton Martis is also back in contention but O’Driscoll is set to name the same back four - Sam Hird, Wayne Thomas, George Friend and Joseph Mills - for the sixth successive game.
