IF Rovers take the lead against Coventry City on Saturday, expect them not to lose.

It may sound like a bold claim but Coventry have not come from behind to win in 34 months.

Add to that they have failed to win on the road so far this season, and Doncaster should be confident of pulling themselves out of their latest sequence of defeats.

However, there should be no underestimation of Andy Thorn’s side and Rovers must be on their guard defensively much more than they have been in recent weeks.

The Sky Blues look to find front man Lukas Jutkiewicz as quickly as possible and will go direct to get the ball to him behind the Rovers back line.

Allow the former £1m Everton signing space and he has the ability to hurt.

Coventry also tend to defend deeply which could present Rovers with the space in midfield they have thrived on in recent years.

Should Rovers produce consistent high pressure on the Sky Blues in all areas of the pitch, then the search for an away win should go on beyond Saturday for Thorn’s side.

Previous line-up: (4-4-2) Murphy, Christie, Keogh, R Wood, Hussey, Clingan, Bell, Bigirimana, Thomas, Jutkiewicz, McDonald.
