AUCKLEY girl Jess Sigsworth scored her first ever Super League goal as the Belles extended their unbeaten run to three games.
Sigsworth broke the deadlock midway through the second half when she latched onto Millie Bright's through ball and kept her cool to slot past Siobhan Chamberlain.
The England youth international had missed an almost identical chance just moments earlier during an entertaining encounter at the Keepmoat Stadium, watched by 523 fans.
Bristol equalised almost immediately, however, when the Belles failed to deal with a routine ball into the box and Laura Del Rio prodded home from close range.
Doncaster went into their penultimate home game of the season on the back of victory over Lincoln and a hard fought draw at Everton, and looked full of confidence and belief against a side still with one eye on the FAWSL title.
Belles' Aine O'Gorman went closest to breaking the deadlock during an open first half when her 25-yard effort had to be tipped over the bar by an alert and agile Chamberlain.
Katie Holtham should have done better with a free header from a corner, while Grace McCatty wasted an almost identical opportunity at the other end.
Both sides looked to be cancelling each other out after the break before Sigsworth and Del Rio struck within minutes of each other.
Del Rio almost won it for Bristol when she hit the inside of the post and Nicki Watts fired a late chance just wide but Belles were full value for a share of the spoils.
