Blades and Reds land home draws

Sheffield United and Barnsley look favourites to reach the FA Cup third round after last night’s second round draw.

The Blades, should they win the first round replay with Crewe at Bramall Lane next week, will face League Two play-off chasers Plymouth at home.

Barnsley are at home to mid-table Vanarama Conference side Chester City.

Chesterfield have a tough tie at home to League One promotion-chasers MK Dons.

Should they win at Weston Super Mare in the rearranged first round tie, Doncaster Rovers will travel to manager Paul Dickov’s former club Oldham Athletic.
