DONCASTER Rovers Belles’ Saturday tea-time clash with Bristol Academy will go ahead as planned - despite the postponement of Rovers’ League One meeting with Oldham.

Belles’ Super League clash had been scheduled as the second part of another Doncaster Rovers double-header.

But the cancellation of the Oldham match due to international call-ups for the Latics has scuppered those plans.

Belles’ game will, however, remain a 6pm kick-off at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The last double-header, just a fortnight ago, saw a crowd of 372 stay on after Rovers’ defeat to Crawley to watch John Buckley’s side lose 4-0 Arsenal.

Since then the Belles have produced two impressive displays to beat Lincoln Ladies 2-1 and draw 1-1 at high-flying Everton, lifting them off the bottom of the table.
