Club officials say the Northern Counties East League outfit’s future is in ‘serious danger’ if support does not come forward.

They are hoping to recruit a commerical manager, matchday volunteers, an assistant programme editor and a physio.

A club spokesperson said: “The hard truth of the matter is that, with its current volunteer numbers, the club’s future is in serious danger and we urgently need people to come forward and help move the club forward.

“It’s not all about football, we want people who want to capture that community spirit and be part of it, people who want to do something worthwhile, and enjoy football and everything it brings along the way.

“Our internet support is great - we have plenty of Twitter followers and Facebook friends, but now it’s time for people to step up. If it doesn’t happen, then who knows how much longer the club will even be here.

“We have a variety of roles available but if you feel you have a particular skillset that may benefit the club, or be right for any committee role, then please get in touch.”
