DONCASTER Rovers winger James Baxendale has joined Evo-Stik Premier Division side Buxton on loan until January.

Rovers have also confirmed the midfielder Mark Wilson has had his loan at Walsall extended until January 7.

Wilson initially joined the League One side at the end of October and has started five games for the Saddlers in that time.

The 32-year-old scored put Walsall ahead in their FA Cup first round tie at Exeter City earlier this month with the Grecians earning a replay in the 90th minute.

Wilson also played 82 minutes of the replay on Wednesday night.

Youngster Baxendale will link up with former Rovers midfielder Scott Maxfield who has recently taken the reigns at Buxton.

The 19-year-old has seen his first team opportunities limited since joining Rovers from Leeds United in the summer.

He has made three appearances off the bench this term following his debut in the Carling Cup game with Tranmere Rovers.
