Warmsworth furthered their promotion ambitions with a high scoring win over Wickersley B in South Yorkshire League Division Two.
Wickersley batted first with opener Matthew Asher scoring 46, youngster Isaac Spencer-Jones 51 and Jack Eggleston 31 in their total of 241-9.
Jack Rodgers took 3-42.
In response skipper Chris Hadley returned to form with an excellent 87 for the Common Lane club.
Hadley hit no fewer than 17 fours and was supported by opener Lincoln Jacobs (35), Ryan Pearson (33), Adam Saynor (32) and Tom Hyde (36) as Warmsworth reached their target with four wickets and four overs to spare.
Warmsworth’s win saw them narrow the gap to Wath B, who currently occupy the final automatic promotion spot, to three points.
Wath B slipped to a 57-run defeat at Frecheville despite restricting the hosts to 154 all out.
David Ratcliffe (72) and Daniel Kempton (42) compiled an opening stand of 104 for the home side but no other batsmen reached double figures and the innings declined to a very reachable target.
Jake Little, with 4-41, and Sam Whitlam, 4-31, bowled well for Wath.
Wath got off to a bad start and lost both openers with the score at 8-2.
Whitlam (23) and Peter Barlow (18) offered some resistance but they were all out for 97.
Ratcliffe completed a man of the match display by claiming 4-24 with the ball, while David Clayton took 3-31.
Elsecar B made it four wins on the bounce by beating Sprotbrough by one wicket in a thrilling finish at Melton Road, leaving the home side in the drop zone.
Sprotbrough batted first with opener Kieran Lumley scoring 42, stumper Tom Kaye 50 and Nick Boxall 32 in their impressive total of 240-9.
Mark Hope again led the bowlers with 4-53.
Steve Taylor hit a quickfire 64 for Elscecar and James Fell (31), Callum Higgins (34) and Mark Hope 41 kept the scoreboard ticking.
In a tense and dramatic finish the innings slumped from 220-5 to 240-9 until last man Ryan Mann hit the winning boundary.
Tim Braithwaite took 4-96 and Ben Lyons 3-34 for Sprotbrough.
Wombwell Main lost out in their top of table clash in Division Three East against Worsbrough Bridge.
Reece Sellers top with scored 57 when Bridge posted 169 all out.
Thomas Goldsby West was prominent again with 5-51 and Chris Bond claimed 3-31.
When Wombwell batted they found Liam Levitt in good form and they were quickly reduced to 9-3.
Stumper Ross Thornton (27) began a revival and skipper Chris Bond (36) edged them closer until he was run out.
Wombwell were eventually all out for 137, short by 32 runs.
