Schools cricket victory for Sunnyfields

SUNNYFIELDS Primary School smashed the opposition for six to take the honours at the Bentley Y4 Cricket Festival.

And they were indebted to the contribution of big-hitting Harvey Thomas who struck a sensational 12 sixes during the course of the day to help his team to victory.

Sunnyfields defeated Arksey Primary in the semi-finals by a whopping 55 runs to set up a final with reigning champions Castle Hills.

But the finale produced yet another explosive display of batting from Sunnyfields to win the match by 34 runs and lift the trophy.
