Hatfield Town hit form with the bat to secure a third straight Premier Division win.

Town, who went into Saturday’s game on the back of wins against Streethouse and Hooton Pagnell, were put in by Sandal at Carr Side Lane.

But after losing three early wickets they fought back in impressive style to punish the visitors’ attack and reach an impressive 298 all out from their allotted 46 overs.

Ellis Pattison continued his recent form by hitting 75.

He was well backed up by James Stewart (51), Matt Cockburn (45), Kev Marshall (38) and Paul Davies (35).

In reply Sandal batted steadily to reach 206-4.

Marshall led the home side’s attack by claiming 4-60.

Town’s 92-run win saw them move up two places to eighth in the table.
