Haxey won the toss and decided to bowl first, but will have been ruing that decision with the hosts on 101-4.

An improvement with the ball in hand led to Sleaford ending their 50 overs with a score of 225-8.

Mark Atkins took 4-47 for Haxey.

In response, the defending champions put on a poor show with the bat, as they finished on 156-8. Dominic Bishop top-scoring with just 28.

* Haxey seconds moved 30 points clear at the top of Lincs. Division Two after easing to a nine-wicket win at Alkborough.

They reduced the hosts to 109 all out before winning with 21 overs to spare.
