WITH grand-daughter Charlotte, aged three, in tow, expectations were high for a fun show.
Bob came on with his sidekick Wendy and from then on we were introduced to quad bike Scrambler (who talked and moved around the stage independently as did Scoop and Dizzy). Lofty moved his hook up and down - but stayed put.

The show was very eco-friendly - the topics were about recycling and wind turbines - or windmills, as Charlotte informed me. Some of the performance was a little bit too chatty for the younger children but the songs were enjoyable and interactive, captivating the youngsters.

But Charlotte was scared by the monster - and that's all she would tell her mum about when we got home. That said, she was also singing 'Bob the Builder - can we fix it!" all evening so the message had definitely sunk in!

Spud's Big Mess was a fun, musical and entertaining show with educational messaging to help children learn about caring for the environment, recycling and of course teamwork.
