A family day out at one of Yorkshire’s top attractions is up for grabs by Doncaster children and young people in a competition launched by Doncaster Children’s Services Trust.
Children from across Doncaster are being invited to bake and design a celebration cake for the Trust’s first birthday in October. Then, they simply need to send in a picture of their bake by Friday 18 September and judges will select their favourite.
The winner will receive a family day pass for the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Doncaster Children’s Services Trust Director of Transformation Jackie Wilson said: “With our anniversary just around the corner we want to celebrate everything we’ve achieved in our first year to transform children’s services across Doncaster.
“We know children and young people can be very creative and imaginative so we can’t wait to see their bakes. The winner will get to enjoy a fun day out with their family thanks to Yorkshire Wildlife Park for donating such a great prize.”
To enter simply send the Trust a picture of your celebration bake, along with your child’s name, age and address by emailing email@example.com; or posting to ‘Cake competition’, Communications, The Blue Building, 38-40 High Street, Doncaster DN1 1DE.
Competition closes on Friday September 18.
Cake designs can also be shared on the Trust’s Twitter page @DN_Child or on the Trust’s Facebook page, Doncaster Children’s Services Trust using the hashtag #trustcakeoff
