Wildlife Park target tigers

CRITICALLY endangered tigers are set move to Doncaster as part of a European-wide conservation programme.

Bosses at Yorkshire Wildlife Park are busy visiting zoos across Europe to locate Siberian Amur tigers, less than 450 of which remain in the wild.

The announcement is another major coup for the Branton park which last year rescued 13 lions from a Romanian zoo which were threatened with having to be put down.
