Who’s the top of the pecking order?

Creative youngsters had a ‘beak’at the wonderful world of wildlife at the RSPB Old Moor Wetlands centre.

The centre is offering a varied programme of activities for families and children during the summer holidays, where they can explore all the 250 acre site and its well-equipped classrooms have to offer.

From pond dipping - where they check out the flora and fauna in the lake to arts and craft sessions all relating to the natural worYoungsters from around south Yorkshire are learning about the wonders of wildlife at RSPB old Moor.

The 250 acre reserve is holding a series of sessions called Tuesday Tales, which run until August 21 , where they can join a professional storyteller for tales of wildlife and wonder.
