The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Doncaster this weekend due to expected gales and rain.

The forecast for the next few days is windy with sunny intervals and blustery showers. Feeling colder.

Today:

A windy day with sunny intervals but also a risk of blustery showers throughout. Some of these will be heavy with a risk of thunder, merging to longer spells of rain, especially late morning. Feeling markedly colder than of late. Maximum temperature 8°C.

Tonight:

Both the wind and the showers will very gradually ease overnight, although it should remain breezy enough to limit frost to hills. Becoming largely dry by dawn. Minimum temperature 2°C.

Saturday:

Starting dry but cloudy, however rain will arrive from the west towards lunchtime to leave a rather wet afternoon with strong winds most consistently in the south, with gales here. Maximum temperature 13°C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Changeable and often windy. Wet and windy on Sunday with gales. Winds easing slightly Monday, in a brighter but colder day with showers. Further wet and windy weather expected Tuesday.
