The Yorkshire Ambulance Service is on the hunt for new volunteers in a number of areas of the borough, to join its community scheme.

People from the Carcroft, Rossington, Tickhill, Thorne, Moorends and surrounding areas are wanted for the Yorkshire Ambulance Scheme, which provides immediate life-saving care to members of local communities in emergency medical situations. Such situations can include heart attacks, breathing difficulties or a collapse, and volunteers will be expected to provide care to the person affected in the vital minutes before the ambulance arrives.
