The school organised a breakfast club and invited along members of the community team who last year came to the aid of seven-year-old pupil Daisy Robinson who they treated for a blood clot.

The event was also a fundraiser and youngsters were allowed to attend out of uniform.

Headteacher Mrs Jane Cappleman-Jackson said: “The First Responders do an excellent job in the villages.”
