Villagers send eggs - with love - to Bluebell Wood kids

Dearne folk dug deep in their pockets and showed their generosity, to support poorly youngsters this Easter.

Workers at D.H MacCabe Funeral Service in Thurnscoe collected 178 chocolate eggs, four cuddly toys and 40 craft sets, that were collected by Bluebell Wood Hospice representative Helen Mower from Noreen Green of MacCabe’s. There was also £78.50 in donations.

Mrs Green said: “We were overwhelmed by what people donated. The villagers here are brilliant at supporting worthy causes.”
