VIDEO: Three Doncaster women killed in Maltby horror crash

This is the scene on a Maltby road this morning, after three Doncaster women were tragically killed in a horror crash last night.

The collision occurred just yards away from Maltby colliery at around 5.30pm yesterday evening, when the three women were travelling in a red Toyota Aygo along Tickhill Road in the direction towards Maltby.

At the same time, a man driving a black Ford Focus was travelling in the opposite direction on Tickhill Road, away from Maltby and towards Tickhill.

The two cars and a van, that is believed to have been leaving the colliery, were involved in a collision.

The female driver of the Aygo, aged 58-years-old, and the two female passengers in the car (66 and 76), all sustained fatal injuries.

The driver of the Focus, aged 28-years-old, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The male driver of the van was not injured.

Police have yet to name the three women who lost their lives in the crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have information is asked to call the police on 101 quoting incident number 913 of 26 November 2015.
