Organisers of the 35th Festival of the Plough reported a “great show” was had by all last weekend.

The weather was kind for the event held at High Burnham and added to the hundreds of thousands of pounds raised for charity over the years.

Traditional ploughing alongside arts and crafts, musical entertainment, static tractor display, vintage cars and terrier racing ensured the crowds were entertained all day.

Winners of the scarecrow competition were Key Stage 1 Infants from Westwoodside with their Mrs Giles Milking entry and Key Stage 2 with The Ploughman.
