People from across Doncaster flocked its town centre yesterday to mark Armed Forces Day.
The celebrations took place in and around Sir Nigel Gresley Square, Waterdale.
There was a military march through the town centre, before a series of events in the square aimed at giving people the chance to recognise and celebrate the service of our Armed Forces.
It was the seventh time the armed forces day parade has taken to the streets of Doncaster.
It was introduced in 2009 under previous elected mayor, Peter Davies and has gone to become an annual fixture on the borough’s civic calendar.
