Have you got the sort of face that could help bring Conisbrough’s medieval treasures to life?

The hunt is on to find three ‘faces’ to represent Lord Hamelin de Warenne, Lady Isabel and the Castle Constable, Henry Picot, who were all at Conisbrough Castle in the 12th century, in a new interactive installation when it is restored next year.

Later this year a professional artist will be drawing their faces to incorporate into animated characters who will greet visitors to the castle when it reopens.

Those wanting an opportunity to be selected should send a face photograph, with a few words on why they should be the Face of Conisbrough Castle, before 4pm on Saturday, August 17 - when there will be an open day with a photo booth at the castle for final entrants.
