Video-District goes Children in Need crazy

Across the district superheroes and kindhearted folk of all ages have been going dotty for Children in Need as they aim to raise vital funds.

Schools, colleges, shops and businesses have been dressing up to highlight those in need and joining Pudsey Bear in urging people to splash the cash.

At Doncaster College construction students were paid to have their legs waxed, there are pool competitions, face painting and much more. At Outwood Academy in Adwick the students’ Random Acts of Kindness Initiative culminated in a Children in Need fundraising day (pictured). Woodfield primary School pupils dressed as superheroes to raise vital funds. And at Grove House Stables in Misterton (pictured) funds were also raised.
