Doncaster’s Civic Theatre has been reduced to rubble.
Little now remains of the building following demolition work which has been taking place over the last few weeks.
Bulldozers have now demolished virtually the entire building and clean up work is now underway on removing the tonnes of rubble created by the knocking down of the building which closed its doors last year.
The Civic was replaced by new performance venue Cast which forms the centrepiece of Doncaster’s new Civic and Cultural Quarter.
The former Council House building will also meet is fate later in the summer when it is blown up in a controlled explosion.
