HEROES and villains are set to battle it out all in the name of charity.

The Bluebell pub in Manor Road, Hatfield, is holding a super hero themed night to raise money for Help for Heroes and the Bluebell Wood Hospice.

The night of fun will take place from 8pm on Friday, July 20, with karaoke, games, fancy dress and prizes for the most convincing goody and baddy.

He-man has already been spotted at the pub, wielding his sword in the direction of Batman’s enemy The Penguin.

Licensee Delia Prudence, said: “We asked our locals who we should support for the night and they all said it should be a local charity.

“A few people said we should support Bluebell Hospice which is nice as it has the link with the name of the pub.”

Admission is £1 for people in fancy dress and £2 for general entry.
