Employees at Care UK, who help to provide care for people across Doncaster and have taken part in 35 days of strike action since March , were joined recently on the picket line by UNISON’S general secretary, Dave Prentis.

Around 150 employees have just completed two weeks of strike action over proposed changes to pay and conditions, this follows a four day and two-day strike in April and two earlier seven day strikes in March.

Strikers have received support from other unions and the families of vulnerable people.
