THE Asda distribution centre at Red House has been raided by the UK Border Agency.
Three Nigerian men were arrested on suspicion of working illegally.
A UK Border Agency spokesman said: “Officers from the UK Border Agency visited Red House Distribution Centre, Doncaster, with the support of the employer, to check staff had the right to work in the UK.
“Three Nigerian men were arrested on suspicion of illegal working. Two have been released pending further inquiries and will report to the UK Border Agency.
“The third man, who had overstayed his visa, remains in detention and steps are being taken to remove him from the country.”
The raid took place on Friday.
