Two lanes closed on M18 as lorry in flames

Highways England said the truck was ablaze on the northbound carriageway of the M18 between junction six at Thorne and Moorends and junction seven, Langham.

They said at 7am that traffic officers were currently on scene with fire crews responding to a lorry fire.

A spokesman said: “A lane one and two closure is currently in place whilst the fire service extinguish. Delays are building with an approximate 15 minute delay.”
