Thousands of people are set to take part in the Sheffield Memory Walk today in aid of the Alzheimers Society.
Taking place at Rother Valley Country Park, around 2,500 people are expected to complete this year’s memory walk.
The route will travel alongside the picturesque lake, across grass, paths and woodland tracks. The 1.5km route goes round a section of the lake, whilst the longer 10km route extends beyond, covering woodland paths.
Sheffield-born TV star, Richard McCourt, is set to open this year’s event at around 11am.
